Tony Todd
Tony Todd is another popular face in horror films. You might remember him most as the Candyman in both of the Candyman movies, Candyman and Candyman II: Farewell to the Flesh. I swear, he is so creepy in them, I get chills down my back when ever he talks! He is also well known for being in two other horror moves, new and old. Night of the Living Dead(1990) as Ben and the recent Wes Craven film Wishmaster(1997) as Johnny Valentine. He is a great actor, so if you haven't seen any of his films check them out!
Doug Bradley
Doug Bradley will be most familiar to you as the man who play Pinhead in the Hellraiser movies. Brad is one of the few stars which has continuously done his character in all the films in the series. Yes, he was the loveable Pinhead in them all=) Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth and Hellraiser: Bloodline. And I found out something while
researching this page that I hadn't known before was that Doug also played Lylesberg (another film from Clive Barker) in my favorite monster movie Nightbreed. Lylesberg was the head of Midean(If you don't count that statue guy)-the place where the monsters lived or the law obider since he didn't seem to ever want to break any rules. I would never have guessed that Lylesberg was Mr. Bradley in a million years until I saw a list of his filmography (I rarely ever pay any attention to the film credits list). And he played him so well to! If you haven't seen that movie-I'd check it out if I were you!
Robert Englund
Robert Englund is Freddy Krueger. He made Freddy what he is today. I don't think the Nightmare series (A Nightmare on Elm St., Nightmare on Elm St. 2: Freddy's Revenge, Nightmare on Elm St. 3: The Dream Warriors, Nightmare on Elm St. 4: The Dream Master, Nightmare on Elm St. 5: The Dream Child, Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare and Wes Craven's New Nightmare) would have become as popular as it did if it wasn't for Robert's sense of humor and the eerieness he brought to the character. What a lot of people dont know is that Robert stared in 25
movies before A Nightmare no Elm St. was even thought of. But even so-he'll always be who Nightmare fans think of before they go to sleep=) Another piece of Robert Englund trivia is that he actually Directed the Nightmare on Elm St Television Series entitled "Freddy's Nightmares" which came out in 1988. Please dont write asking what there were-I was too young to have seen them unfortunatly. Recently in a non-Freddy appearance, Robert was in Wes Craven's Wishmaster.
Kane Hodder
Kane is most famous for being Jason Vorhees in Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood, Friday the 13th VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell: Friday the 13th VIIII. But Kane has also done a lot of stunt work in horror movies also. Like Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw
Massacre III(1990) House III(1989), Ghost Town(1988), House II: The Second Story(1987), House(1986) and The Hills Have Eyes II(1985). And was the stunt co-ordinator in the three Friday the 13th movies he was in. And he is also planning on play Jason Vorhees in the up-coming Frddy-Jason Movie.
Gunnar Hansen
Gunnar is most well known for being Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (see picture at left) which is known to be one of the goriest films of its time in 1974. He later went on to do cameo
appearances in horror films such as: The Demon Lover(1976) as Professor Peckinpah, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers(1988) as The Stranger and Freakshow(1995) as the Freakmaster. He also tries to show up at a lot of the horror conventions around the United States as well as over seas. And he is extremely gracious to all of his loyal fans. The bottle in his hand in the picture at the right is Mech Fluid, his home-made liquor, which is very popular at all the conventions. It's 280 proof, its his little secret how its over 200 so dont ask!=)
Bruce Campbell
Bruce is perhaps best known for the character Ash he portrays in the Evil Dead Trilogy. Most horror fanatics rate Evil Dead up there with the best of the best so I thought since Mr. Campbell was in them all-I'd add him to the Masters List. (Even though I didn't find it all that scary-just creepy as hell=) bruce not just stared in the Evil Dead Series (The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness) he was co-producer of them as well. He also did a voice in the movie The Dead Next Door. And if you call Congo a horror movie-he was in that as well=)
The picture of him at the right is in the first Evil Dead.
Donald Pleasence
Donald is THE MAN when it comes to horror. He was so great as Dr. Sam Loomis in the Halloween movies playing Michael Myers former doctor. When finding out that Michael has escaped he goes each time to find him and destroy him and is most of the time successful in stoping him till the next movie. He was in every single Halloween movie wich also stared Michael Myers (Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween 4, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers). He has been in over 175 movies in the 50's - the 90's and I am sure is great in all of them.
