The gentle fall of snowflakes on his back awakened Tigatron from memories he had recently tried to abandon to the mists of time. Unlike his former self, the Maximal knew where he was heading this time. Or did he?
"Why am I heading this way? What do I hope to accomplish on this journey?" In his heart, he knew full well the answer. But time spent with the other Maximals had suppressed the nature of his beast.
"Perhaps I was meant to be this way," he thought as he looked down upon the reflection of his beast-mode face in the snow. "My Cybertronian heritage has delivered only pain and suffering. In this form, I have know only peace and contentment. There is such beauty to behold on this planet, but each time I transform, a small piece of this ... wonder ... is destroyed. I must make a final decision ... discover who I am once and for all."
He continued on his journey, noticing gleaming ice formations, how the sun sparkled on the pristine surface beneath his paws, how the icy wind danced around his body. And in losing himself in the pristine environment that encompassed him, Tigatron found himself lost in the past once again.
"By the Matrix!" exclaimed the newly created beast warrior. "Never have I known such feelings, such sensations. This form is truly a gift from Primus."
Like a child lost in the rapture of a new experience, Ti-Garion pranced about in the snow formations. Fragments of memories, of past lives and forms, flashed through his mind. He had worn many disguises in his lifetime, but none had been so ... alive. A vehicle and mobility. A jet and the thrill of flight. A spacecraft and the satisfaction of glimpsing the secrets of the Universe. All of those he had been, but this simple organic form granted Ti-Garion something more: limitations. Diving into what was the largest snow drift close by, Ti-Garion emerged panting. A small chuckle escaped from the tiger's mouth.
"I'm ... I'm out of ... breath. This is certainly a ... first." Another laugh escaped as the Maximal glimpsed more memory fragments.
"So many with so much disdain for Organics. How little my brothers," a momentary pause as Ti-Garion truthfully considered," and myself understood." So lost in the sensations of his new form, and preoccupied by memories of other times, Ti-Garion failed to notice that he was being watched by a set of eyes that much resembled his own. A curious growl, however, awoke the Maximal to the presence of the other ... tiger.
Newly imprinted insticts overpowered Ti-Garion, forcing him to back away from the creature who was mere footsteps away. A low growl unexpectedly greeted the newcomer, forcing the other tiger to stiffen it's pose. As the two faced one another, Ti-Garion's logic circuits began to dominate his beast instincts.
"What am I doing? This creature has not harmed me, or made any threatening gestures. It is merely," he looked into the other's eyes, "curious." As Ti-Garion gently moved forward, the other tiger walked even closer, placing it's head close to his. The tiger then did the last thing Ti-Garion ever expected it to do, it licked the side of his face.
Moving back a few steps in suprise, Ti-garion contemplated his situation. "I suppose this is it's way of saying ... hello." He smiled again. Stepping forward, he returned the greeting. An odd sound emanated from the other tiger. It was a sound that T-Garion recognized as happiness. Soft vibrations accompanied the sounds as the other tiger nudged against the Maximal.
"I believe I have made a new friend."
