Well - what can I say about this novella?  Most of it was written over the most intense 10 days of my life during July, 1998.  I lived and breathed the story.  It was heavenly.

Written originally for the 1998 Earth 2 Fanfic challenge, Auryn soon became something much more.  Early plot outlines never included something the size and scope of the final product!  And so I planned to make this story an "online reading experience" with images and songs for each section.  Unfortunately, given the facts that .wav files are far too big to upload, and midi files sound terrible, the song-per-scene idea was dropped.  (I had some wonderful themes planned, such as Joel McNeely's "The Seduction of Princess Leia" for certain Alonzo/Morgan themes!)

Instead, I presented only 2 pieces of music - the Earth 2 theme on the title page, and the instrumental piece entitled "Auryn" from The Neverending Story soundtrack.
