THE ORIGIN OF ORANGE BLANKET PRODUCTIONS©
This tale began a very long, dark time ago, in the dark depths of
an old, seventh grade teacher by the name of Paula Gardner.
(This all really occured in Fort Kent, Maine about four
months ago. The class is VERY boring and you pretty much sleep most
of the time (I'd like to anyway) if you're done your homework so it is a
long, dark time ago to me!!) Anyway, me and my friends, Matt Selva,
Prema Long, and Meagan Plourde were all working on a movie for a book
report. (which is more fun than writing) We wanted to know if we
could use real fire in it so we asked our teacher. She said,"Real fire
could be dangerous......why not use an orange blanket waving around
instead?"
Thus came our title, Orange Blanket Productions©!!! We really did
this to make fun of our teacher but when we showed the movie she didn't
get the joke or she forgot about it so the name stuck. Now every
movie we make is O.B.P. Also, another reason we use the name is because
we don't have high tech. equipment so Orange Blanket Productions also
means low tech. This is the origin. Click here to get back to the O.B.P. homepage
