It's obvious that you DON'T want to end this thread. Commander, you said "we should be free to ask for things without some group crawling out of the woodwork and trying to turn it into some kind of Jyhad." Assuming you meant jihad, what makes you think you are being persecuted? If you have the right to ask for something, then I have the right also. I am asking that we NOT do something, you are asking that we do it. Why do you accuse me (and others that share my views) of doing it solely to persecute you? Perhaps it is because WE also have strong views, just that they oppose yours. I am a citizen of the Realm. Therefore, all things that happen there DO affect me. If, in real life, your neighbor decided to paint his house shocking pink with gold trim, would you object? Perhaps he would tell you that "it really doesn't affect you." Or perhaps that same neighbor would decide to build a mausoleum in his front yard? Would you object then? That would also not affect you directly, but it WOULD affect you, and you would be right in objecting. Do not deny me my right to an opinion by implying that I am jealous someone is getting something that I am not. I stick by my opinion that Stephen should NOT do this. I have yet to hear a persuasive arguement as to why he should. The arguments for it are emotional, not logical.
