Barbara Metzger Barbara Metzger is another one of my favorite authors in the Regency Romance category (though some of her books are nearly High Fantasy). The books are nice, with real characters, and believable (or nearly believable) plots, lot's of fun and twists and turns of phrase that catch the funny bone.
