Tomb Raider Wreck of the Maria DoriA

Of the underwater levels, this one is the best and the longest. It sports a very impressive variety of scenary, enemies and puzzles.Watch out! There's a dude in the water with you. I'd suggest that you take steps to conserve your harpoons. That fall is a bugger. I did it the first time I got the level then quit because I had to go to work. I died the next 20 times I tried it, though.=OD What do people in parachutes do to make a landing easier on themselves? The stone dragon is farther away then it seems. You'll need to find an opening that goes across the ceiling. Wasn't it nice of the ship builders to make room enough to move three blocks? No, you're not short enough to go under there, but you can go around. Tread lightly, those spikes are sharp. The bathroom door is a cruel hoax isn't it? I mean, you think they'd let you go after 7 grueling levels. Still, that's an important button which exposes another important button behind the double doors. Don't worry about getting that thing behind the other door to your left quite yet. You'll need a little bump in the floor, er.. ceiling to get up to the second, er.... first floor. A little shimmying will get you to the opening in the door. Check out the hatches. Don't worry, that first room will prove handy later. The second proves to be more a challenge, but you're an old pro at moving crates and pulling switches. Don't get back in the hall without finding the rusty key. You saw where the rusty key went, right? More blocks to move around. It may not seem like it at first, but you'll really need to move both of them. You need a place to stand on, afterall. Barrels ahoy! If you're really brave, you'll get the jade dragon. Check out that nifty little boat down there. No wonder the old guy drowned in this ship. They keep their safety boats locked up.=OD The boat will prove useful in getting back up, because you'll be in a rush. There are not one, but two switches you need to pull up there. One of them requires that you stay in the air for a while. I bet this is where you messed up, Eric.=OD The little atrium is kind of nifty. There's an important item in there, as well as the button. If you have a hard time getting back up, run around for a while and key an ear out. You could go left in the hall down there, but it's a dead end for now. Find a way to open it and hop back down to the little lounge. The double doors and the door behind it with the circuit breaker cannot be open at the same time. Conveniently, you can just hop back up to the crawlspace. If you want to come away with the third circuit breaker alive, make sure you do the longest jump you know how to.=OD Finally, time to go swimming again, but you're not alone. You'll need to do a little something to get out of the water. Three big baddies? This must be an important spot. You know how the circuit breakers work. You just wonder how there could be any oxygen left in this ship. Hehe. Anyways, find a way to get across those huge, er... whatever they are.A single barricuda isn't all that scary, but all those sea critters out there sure are. Sadly, you'll have to face them sooner or later. Flip switches and open doors and all that good stuff before you take the plunge. You might want to think about saving your game at this point, too.You know where the key is, but it really didn't look like the swim was this long. It is okay to leave some animals alive, you know. You know where the key goes. It's all in the same dark, creepy place. Finally, you get to move that block you were trying to move earlier. Time to leave this dark, scary place.I love this part. Two thugs, two scubamen and a handful of eels. Good thing you just picked up the M-16 ammo, right? Those eels rule. They're so cool, in fact, that they just won't die.You might think that you're on your way out to dry ground, but there's still two more levels or watery goodness to be had.
