Tomb Raider Barkhang Monastary

This level added a welcome twist to the game. You'd better know what you're shooting at here. This is also a level in which you could do things in a lot of different sequences. There's only one place to go when you start out, and that's into the middle of the brawl. You don't have to kill everyone, really. There's a ladder to help you get up to the second floor's level. It'll take some hopping, sliding, shimmying and long jumping to get you to the second floor walkway, though. Actually, getting inside is pretty easy. You learned that trick in Venice, right? There's not much to do in the blue halls except look around and defend youself (and possibly others). You might take note of the color of the little keyhole next to opening covered by a few boards. Find a way to get up to the top floor of the monastary. You'll find a critical key in there, but don't get to anxious to use it quite yet. Stay up there and see where the walkway takes you. What did you ever do to those boulders? They're after you. In the water, you'd better stick to the edges or you'll be sunk, literally. The long, dark passageway down there is one area where guns won't be enough to give you the light you need, because there are some traps waiting for you.You might wonder what the golden things are on the ground in the dark room. Grab that prayer wheel on the other side of them and you'll find out. Be sure to use look to line up your jumps so you can get out of there. You'll need to move a couple of blocks to get back up. Now you can use the hall key. The fight that follows is even better than the first one.The big oaf is sitting on a golden dragon. The first door to the right is a short trip, but you'll end up with the stronghold key if you've learned how to dodge the blades. You can go even farther in, but you're not going to get past the boards. In fact, you won't ever get past them. Now's a fair time to use the key that you just picked up. Remember, the key color matches the color of the lock. It wasn't all that "strong", but it was "holding" the key to the rooftop. The rooftop keyhole is another one you've probably already seen. It just takes a little bit of timing to get to it. The roof itself is an unfriendly spot to be in.Those animals know how to turn off the flames. A basic jump will get you over all of the burners. There's a switch that will let you down into that room behind the bladed hallway. Don't head back up until you pick up a couple of gems. You'll use one of the gems to open up another area on the roof to get the second prayer wheel. The long, wide hall is full of nasties and traps. Explore doorways as they come up and you'll be fine. That whole mess of crates has some good things in it, but none you'll need to make it through the level. As you move through the hall, be ready for some trouble. After you've taken care of the guys on the stairs, hop down (figuratively speaking) to the stony courtyard. The fourth prayer wheel is in there, but it'll take a climb. Actually, it'll take 4 climbs. The switch will let you out again. Back in the hall off of the monastary's enourmous chamber, you'll find some more trouble. Wasn't it nice to leave that little door open for you? Welcome to the hall from hades. Could they have possibly put more nasty traps in so short a distance? I can't really help you with this part because it's all timing. If you're really ambitious, there's even a dragon in it for you. Either way, don't stop until you find the trapdoor key.Actually, don't stop either way. :) Go for a little swim and keep an eye out for a stone dragon. To get the fourth prayer wheel, you'll need to do some idol climbing. But dagnabit, you say, it's not up there. What you saw happen when you placed the gem was directly below the statue. Find a way to open the door underneath which all the water is coming. Then find a way to stop its flow. Have you tried both pushing and pulling? The fourth prayer wheel is cleverly hidden behind a block which you knew had to be important. Getting outis a matter of finding a ladder.I bet you knew which one was the trapdoor keyhole, didn't you? You'll find two ways to go. One of them is obviously the way back out. The other one is a chance for a nice stroll outside. There's a nice ladder hidden among all of those rocks and cliffs that will help you get even higher. More crows and thugs and crows and oops! that was a good guy.=OD To get into the little fort, you'll need to hop some rocks. You can't jump to the wall itself from the cliff, though. Inside, you'll find the final prayer wheel. You know how to get back and where to put them.Once you've placed the seriph in it's little hole, you're good to go.
