The Schedule
Since it is sometimes hard to get people to join together randomly in a web-based chat room, I have decided a schedule would be best to ensure frequent chatting. The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Friday, 4pm to 9pm EST. The discussions will begin on the current happenings in the Generation X comic and at around 6pm will change to a new topic, chosen by moi. Saturday, 12pm to 3pm EST, and again at 5pm to 9pm EST. General discussion for both times. Sunday, 12pm to 3pm EST, and again at 5pm to 8pm EST. This will be the day you give me feedback about what's going on, etc. I'll be showing up mostly on this day rather than the others to discuss my thoughts, verify rumors, and simply join in the discussion.
You should keep in mind that these times are subject to change if this room becomes more popular than expected, and sometimes the hours will be extended if people are chatting and would like to stay longer. I will be popping up every once in a while to see how things are going and to just add to the discussion.
RULES:
No imps, meaning do not imposter others. Please watch your language. I like to swear just as much as the next guy but this is a comic chat, remember. Kids will be coming here. Don't try messing up the chat. This is a service I'm providing and I will take it down if it gets out of hand. NO FLAMING. As Grandma always says, if you don't have anything nice to say, shut the heck up. Got it? Good.
That's it! You should keep in mind that this chat is on a separate server, located at my ISP account, so there will be the occasional problem. If you receive the dreaded "ERROR" message, just hit the back button and try again. Sorry, it's the best I can do. Remember, if there is a problem, contact me immediatly at sid_x@hotmail.com or, if it's more urgent, jrvp@frontiernet.net, but please only use the latter address for emergency-type things. I should not be receiving any other mail at that one than things regarding problems with the chat, not just a friendly "hello" or "your chat sucks." Nothing like that.
