Powers: From what I can tell, she has the ability to make her skin and muscles razor sharp. possibly from negative energy. Still kinda sketchy on this one.
Background: There is very little information about this mutant girl. She was teleported by Gateway in Generation X #1 to the team headquarters from her prison in the castle of Emplate. It seems that he was feeding from her, and possibly for this reason her body has turned hard as diamond, and she cuts everything she touches. Because of this, she has become untouchable in body and mind.
Emma Frost has lately tried an approach to her mind, and, though she was at first unable to reach it,
has now discovered that a war is taking place in there. Jubilee is particularly worried about the girl. But Jubilee likes Penny (as she calls her) a lot. She talks to her, even though she probably doesn't understand.
Penance loves apples. Lately, it seems that her skin might be softening, since she has shown some scratches in it. It has also been revealed that Penance is deaf, and thus may be part of the reason why she hasn't been able to really communicate.
