"The Caves"

The Moonless Caves

THE VILLAGE: After a long walk you arrive at the village. It's dark and in the sky you see a quarter of a pale moon that is rising from the roofs of the houses. You begin to look around to see where you can go, walking in silence on a stone pavement street that enter in the village from south and arrive 'til the other side, through a little square. The doors of the houses are all closed and from the windows you can see some candles burning of a yellow light. You can se no one.
You arrive at the square and you see a well in the middle and a gallows. On the corner, near a building of wood and stone, there are many heaps of straw. The floor is wet and the yellow reflexes of the moon shine in the air. On the left you see an emporium, but it's closed, on the right there's a tavern.

What do you do?
- I'm very tired and very hungry. I'll go to the tavern.
- I'm very tired and very hungry, but I have no money. I want to try to steal something in the emporium.
