Reaching back, during the days of an younger Empire, was House Fenix formed. During a time when personal gain was more inportant than duty to the Empire, and honor, was it forged, to bring loyal warriors together who knew of duty and honor. And to remember our cultural past, without all the petty politics within the council and seperate houses.
When K'mpec ruled the High Council many years ago, a klingon named Ke'traS and members of his small househould, were stationed to Klingon outpost Pens cla'. Their mission, was to monitor the surrounding sectors, and seek out other worlds to claim in the glory of the Empire.
As they were seperated from other klingons, the bond within the household grew strong. The petty bickering that flurished between the line memebers and other houses was no longer there.
Loyalty to line members was important for their survival. The honor of one, became the honor of all. Ke'traS studied and recorded the histories and glories of past members of House Fenix, and as the years grew, so did their accomplishments. He passed his work on to others, his current decendant being Kestral, so that they could record the many deeds that were done for the glory of the Empire. They were often called into service, as arbitrators, and intelligence officers, as they were well known to being honorable, and would treat others with fairness, no mater WHAT house, great or small they came into contact with.
As their numbers grew, it was decided that House Fenix, needed a house emblem....something that symbolized the re-birth of the values that the house upheld. They found their symbol, using ancient embelm that was used by one of the worlds that was under their outpost watch...the Ve'nIq..or Fenix, as pronounced by that world...a great bird that was fierce, and was being constantly reforged in fire. They used the great bird, and in its tallons, the flames, our passion for duty and honor to ourselves, our house, and the Empire, and the orb, symbol of the world they watched over, superimposed over the great tri-star symbol of the Empire, to represent their duty and loyalty to the Empire.
Members of the house today, hold many diffrent duties and services within the Empire. New members are usually invited to join our great house, but one can also petition a request to be accepted into the house.

This line was created exclusively for selected members of the Klingon Assault Group. The purpose of the line is to bring together warriors interested in advancing their careers and developing the cultural aspects of their character. All the time avoiding the petty politics which destroy the enjoyment of fandom.
