Instructions
Cryptogram is a letter-substitution puzzle. To decode the puzzle,
- Choose a letter in the puzzle by clicking the mouse on it, or type a letter on the keyboard. (The applet must have focus. If the keyboard doesn't respond, click the mouse anywhere on the applet to give the applet focus.)
- Choose the letter that represents it by clicking the mouse on it, or type it on the keyboard.
Your decoded letter will appear in both the puzzle area and the code area.
If you're using a canned puzzle, the applet will let you know when the puzzle is solved. You may ask for hints if you get stuck, or the solution to the puzzle if you're really stuck.
The Enter Puzzle button allows you to enter your own puzzles into the applet. They will be encoded if requested, and then appear as if they were a canned puzzle. Sorry, no hints or solution will be available.
