Browsers

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 is my personal favorite. It supports embedded Multimedia such as
sounds, music, or movies as well as key Internet standards such as Dynamic HTML, JAVA, ActiveX, and
so on. It only runs on Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, so if you're still
using Windows 3.1, it's seriously time to upgrade!

Kind of an oxymoron going on here, but I guess some people don't agree with me. So, I've
built this site to be "Best Viewed With Netscape Communicator." (Don't forget that MS IE4 works
as well and so does earlier versions of Netscape, IE, and any other browsers that support Frames and Tables!)
Communications

What can I say? ICQ is simply the best real time messaging product on the market. I know, America Online
is about to buy it, but it's still the best. Download it now, you won't be sorry! Also, my UIN is 7262608,
add me to your contacts as soon as you install it!

I guess you should always have a choice, so I offer you America Online's Instant Messenger.
It seems to be a decent product, very light and user friendly. I do have it installed, but I don't
use it that often. If you decide to go this route, my nickname is Alallein. Go ahead and add me!
Web Authoring Tools

Just kidding. Well, not really. All of the work I've done on this site was done using
the standard Microsoft Windows Notepad. Seriously! There is not a link to it because it already
exists on your PC, try clicking Start, Programs, Accessories, Notepad to try it! (I suppose I could
have written some VBScript that automatically opened it when you clicked the link, but that might
get some people a little PO'ed!)

Microsoft Visual J++ is the premier programming tool to develop cutting edge Java applications. The software is
fast, easy, and supports all the industry standards. I used it to create some of the JScript Functions on the start.htlm
Homepage (only viewable with MSIE4, sorry).

Microsoft Frontpage 98 is an excellent Web Site Creation and Management
Application. The package includes a WYSIWYG Editor, Site Mapping Utility, Templates and Wizards,
Link Verification Service, and a Graphical Site Manager. Give it a try!
If you have a recommendation for the list, please email me at alallein@geocities.com.
