Aneid Cower was born in the small farm village of Corrain, near the River Dhagon in Arad Doman. As a youth he was not very sociable, his lack of confidence that stemmed from his belief that he was not a good-looking boy, only made him more recluse. Every year Aneid would travel with his father Mortel to Bandar Eban or Toman Head to trade their livestock which consisted solely of chickens, for items that came from all over the world. Aneid was sure to pick up books of all types while in the large cities.

The year of his fourteenth name day his father decided to travel to Tanchico feeling they would get a much better deal for their goods there. When Aneid and his father made it to Tanchico they were robbed by a group of bandits all of their trade goods were taken and the two men were roughed up a bit. Mortel hired a tough Theif Catcher by the name of Havril to regain their livestock. Two days later Havril had recovered a substantial portion of the lost goods to Aneid and his father. The experience made Aneid even more reclusive and very suspicious of strangers. The trade went well in Tanchico and Aneid was able to increase his already large library of books.

The large amount of work that was needed to keep the small farm going wore on Aneid. He would read his books and dream of adventures, his two younger sisters were very popular in the village with the other Youngsters. Aneid wished he could talk to others with the ease his sister's Ariene, and Verrill did. Aneid looked forward to the yearly travels to the large cities, on his sixteenth name day his father began to trade with a merchant that made his way to the village. The days of travelling to the big cities were gone, that settled it for Aneid. He knew that he was going to leave the farm soon, he just had know idea that it would be to the service of the Dragon.

At seventeen Aneid's abilities to sense ore and mineral through the One Power, started to come out. While tilling the field he would know where the larger boulders were, and if they had any value to them. It was not a very useful talent but it was his and it made him special in the village. The Wagon pulled up to the Village just west of his farm, the banner on the wagon told all that seen it that the men who drove it were Dragon Sworn. Aneid went to listen to what the soldiers of the Dragon had to say. Aneid had heard the Rumors of this Rand al'Thor Aneid read enough of the Prophecies of the Dragon to know that Rand as he was the true Dragon. Aneid signed up to join the Dragons Army against the urgings of his family. Aneid went to the wagon to find two young men in Black staring at a flame, with two of the recruits staring at the same flame. When it came to his turn he was told it was a test that all recruits to the dragon had to take. The flame looked odd as it burned. It was blue in the center and glowed not quite as bright as it should have. Aneid sat and stared intently at the flame, he started to enjoy the color of the flame, the way it rose and fell. He was well into the center of the flame watching the colors swirl together, when the young man shook him on the arm. You will do Soldier, the man said Aneid stood and noticed that the two Black clad men share a grin. Aneid was secured away from the other recruits, then whisked away to the Black Tower to start his training as an Asha'man.

Aneid has brown hair and brown eyes. His original belief that he is not a handsome man was true. Although he will never repulse women he can be easily over looked. He is 5'11" and 190 lbs. He is heavily muscled from all of the farm work he has done in his youth. At the age of twenty-one he is much wiser than his age tells, and very smart from all of the reading he has done.
