About the Author

While surfing the web one day, I started to thinking. I know a very dangerous sport. But I decided that after so many years of having this site up, it's high time I put a little something personal about myself on here. So, to all of you, from the bottom of my heart, I present to you....me.

Okay, starting simple. My given name is privileged information. No offense meant. It's just my belief that names, like eyes, are windows to the soul. Guard them well lest your enemies learn too much. Okay, moving along. Many know me as Julien Sabastien or just julien (aka the Fallen Angel). My hair is natural blonde which falls to the base of my back, but I have recently dyed my hair bright, fiery Irish red. I also have blueish, greenish, greyish eyes that seem to change between the three depending on my mood or clothing color. I am about 5'10" in height and just a little on the stocky side.

I was born in New York and raised just above the City in a sleepy little town along the New Jersey border. I am the oldest of four kids with one brother and two sisters. We're a fairly close family with your typical family squabbles. For 9 months in 1999, I lived on my own in Orlando, FL and it was probably the best thing I did in my entire life. I was living and surving on my own and loving every minute. The decision to move back with my parents was more of convenience then anything else. Besides, it's saving me a ton of money in rent and food. I love my parents. They are great.

Hmm, how about education next. I graduated high school from Minisink Valley Central School in Slate Hill, NY. I graduated 42 out of 120 or something like that, which, according to todays standards in student bodies, is tiny. In the Fall following graduation, I attended Orange County Community College (OCCC) in Middletown, NY. I went there for 2 years and graduated with my AA in Liberal Arts which basically does nothing for me. After graduating OCCC, I went to SUNY New Paltz for a year, absolutely hated it and didn't go back. The following Fall, I went back to OCCC just to take a few basic classes I missed the first time around since I changed my major. I took a year and a half sabatical, but after I attended SUNY Potsdam in an attempt to finish my degree. After two semesters at Potsdam, I decided that I could save money again by moving back home and attending SUNY New Paltz again. There I majored in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education.

My hobbies are varied and somewhat limited, but I enjoy doing them all the same. I write both poetry and short stories if you could not already tell from the rest of my site. I also like to read mostly fantasy and sci-fi but I also enjoy historical, spiritual, inspirational and even the hot, steamy stuff every once in awhile. Other favortie things to do are role-playing, cross-stiching, chatting, sleeping, web design, theatre (acting, backstage and veiwing), music (singing and listening to just about anything, I'm on a goth kick right now), movies (Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time fave), walks through the woods and cemeteries and hanging out with friends.

What else can I say about myself? Well, there is always religion. I already hinted at earlier, I'm a sucker for history. In studying history, however, I have found that you must study religion as well. Over the years, although a was raised a very lax Christian, I have found that many religions share similar beliefs. What I have done is formed my own view of the world, taken bits and pieces of the many religions in the world and set up my own practice with only one worshiper. Recently I have found others with similar beliefs but nothing that matches exactly. And now I've said too much.

Finally, I would like to give recognition of the two men in my life. First, there's my fiancee, who I love ver-ver much. He has stood by me through many a troubling times in the last year and a appreciate everything he's done for me. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. Second is my son, the cutest little thing you ever did see. If you haven't seen him already, go ahead and take a peek at his little peice of the web at Damien's page.

So, that's me. If I can think of anything else to say, I'll be sure to add it. In the mean time, enjoy the rest of my site.

Me in color as well as some other important people in my life as I get them.
