Sister Baby's Heavenly Birthday Cake



        My cousin, Sister Baby, years ago gave me a recipe for one of her favorite cakes. It is easy, but oh so devine! It is a butter cake with a creamy coconut frosting.

        Sister Baby passed away last year. She was a most beautiful women, both inside and out. One thing she loved to do was prepare amazing meals for her family. I have wonderful memories of family reunions and delectable dishes made by Sister.

        So take a moment and check out this recipe. You'll be making memories for your own friends and family!

        Purchase a butter cake mix and prepare it as instructed. While the cake is baking make the frosting.

      • Frosting

      • 1 12oz. of cool whip desert topping
      • 1 8oz.container of sour cream
      • 18oz. of frozen coconut
      • 1 1/2 cup of sugar

        • Mix the above ingredients together. When the cake is done baking take it out but do not let the cake cool. Divide the cake into four layers then frost it while it is still hot. Store the cake in the refrigerator.
