Sweetie Pie's Sinful Brownies

This delectable recipe came from my cousin Landin (alias Sweetie Pie). Of all the men I've met he is a true sweetie pie. He's a natural storyteller and can tell wonderful epics of his life growing up on his parents farm. He has a spirit that is sweet, unassuming, yet with a dash of sensuality, which is also a good discription for this dessert. Sink your teeth into one these brownies! They'll make you moan with delight!!

        • 1 German chocolate cake mix
        • 1 egg
        • 1 stick of butter
        • 1 cup of chopped pecans
        • Mix the above ingredients then press into a 13x9inch pan or a slightly larger roaster pan and set aside.

Next mix and beat well the following ingredients:
        • 8 oz. cream cheese(softened)
        • 3 eggs
        • 1 box (1 lb. box) powder sugar
        • 1 teaspoon vanilla
        • Now pour this over the brownie mixture and place in an oven preheated at 300 degrees. If you are using a 13x9inch pan bake for 1 1/2 hours. Bake for only 1 hour if using the roaster pan. Cool before cutting.
This is an easy recipe for kids to make and a favorite for the holiday.
