Aloha! I was born and raised in Hawaii on the beautiful "Garden Island" of Kauai. That makes me a "local" girl! hehe My birthday is March 5th so that makes me a Pisces. I am part Hawaiian, Portuguese and Puerto Rican.

I love sunsets and try not to miss one if I can help it. Sunsets give me a sense of peace and renewal. It signals the end of another day and gives me some time to reflect on how I might be able to make tomorrow a better day.
I am a very romantic woman and my favorite thing to do with someone is to share a sunset, hold hands and reflect on the love that we share and thank god for allowing us to share another loving day together.
I believe communication is the key to a happy relationship. When people are able to communicate and share with each other their feelings then the rest falls into place.
I could never trust someone that doesn't express his or her feelings with me.
I currently live with my boyfriend Don, who I met in a chat room: E! Online. Who says that online relationships never work out? We chatted for about 4 months and we both knew that we had to be together, so we made it happen. Don made the big move from Florida to be here with me in Hawaii. I am so glad that he did! He makes me very happy! He keeps me going from day to day and gives me the strength to go on when I don't feel like it. I love this man completely and I will for all time. I love, honor, and respect this wonderful man. We plan on getting married soon here in hawaii, and then again when we move to Florida so that his family can be present. He is such a romantic... I love you Don!!
Don't ever be afraid to fall in love with someone if it feels right. Follow your convictions and give love a chance. We may get hurt or rejected at times, but we must never forget that there is always that someone special out there waiting for us, and if we give up, we may never find out what true love is. When you find that special someone, hold on to that love and cherish it with all your heart and soul. It will happen to you, just keep the faith and believe in love. I've been hurt many times but I finally found my true love and it took me many years of therapy to believe that I deserve it! Please, always remember to love yourself, because it sure makes life much easier to live with until that special someone comes along.
I have a 8 year old son named Justin. I adore him and cherish him, but he is a handful at times! I call him my little "Damian" because he acts like a demon child...LOL His biological father decided to do his own thing before Justin was born, so I was a single mother until Don came into my life on April 1st. Don has been such a wonderful father-figure for Justin and I truly appreciate and respect him for that.
I am currently a Compliance Specialist at a local hospital here. I am the assistant to the hospital's Compliance Officer/Risk Manager/Quality Improvement person, and she sure is a busy person! Her job is very important because she makes sure that the hospital is following all the rules and regulations and basically makes sure we don't get sued. Gee, I guess that makes my job kinda important too...*big grin* I used to work in the Home Health Care Field and took care of the sick and the elderly in their homes. Although I got burned out and don't do that type of work anymore, I firmly believe that we should treat our elderly with the respect and dignity that they so richly deserve.
And I absolutely adore South Park!
