Report of possible origin of Omega operatives is as folows:
The Saratoga's Senior Medical Officer mentioned, when the 61st and 72nd were wiped out, not all of the bodies were accounted for. Some of the marines recovered were transported back to Earth by AeroTech couriers. He was under strict military orders not to disclose any information of the missing bodies and consiquently was transferred to an undisclosed AeroTech facility.

Inside sources say that AeroTech, under government funding, are conducting biological experiments on the deceased. This is coupled with the dissecting of preserved alien specimens that were captured at a covert listening post near Neptune. 
The replacement units say that there are some type of "super marines" being trained at a new AeroTech research facility in the United States. The facility is described as a sealed fortress with state-of-the-art maximum security systems. It is reported that the only materials that go in or out are transport trucks full of sulfur dioxide, ammonia, nitrogen, carbon dioxide gases and heavily armed guards. All transports run throught the night regardless of weather. No one speaks of or comes within 10 klicks of the facility, which appears to be self-containing.
One over heard a guard speak of "Project Omega","hybrid in-vetros" and "deep alien territory infiltration" in passing. Nothing more was ever heard nor any solid confirmations on received information.
