In this mission, a group of stalwart defenders, hopelessly outnumbered by the foe, strive to sell their lives dearly against the odds.
Victory Points are used. The defending player gets 1/2 the amount of points the attacking player gets (so, if the attacker gets 1000 points, the defending player gets 500 points of troops).
1 Board should contain a central feature where defenders can set up. This can be a bunker, wood or ruined building according to personal preference.
2 The attacking player should now deploy troops within 18" of all board edges, but no closer than 24" from the centre of the board.
3 The defending player should now deploy troops within 18" of the centre of the board.
4 The defending player goes first.
The defending player wins if the defenders gain an equal amount of victory points to their own value, or if any of their models successfully make it off the board (even if they are falling back at the time).
Reserves are not used.
The game lasts six turns.
Attackers that are forced to fall back do so to the table edge they are nearest to at the time. Defender units are immune to Morale Checks.
