G'liren has only transferred to Lakesedge recently, moving from Southern, following his dragon's grounding due to a bad Threadscore. This caused G'liren's weyrmate to leave him and, distraught, G'liren decided to leave his Weyr.

He now acts as an unranked assistant to Dragonhealer Natalya - a dragon nurse, as it were, rather than a full Dragonhealer.

However, his weyrmate's departure has left its mark. G'liren is convinced he is old and ugly (in fact, with his curly blond hair, large brown eyes and nicely-muscled body, he is far from it) and tries to persuade himself otherwise by sleeping with everybody he possibly can.
