More Wave 2 Clone Wars 3-Packs

TRU east in Madison got in a few more cases of these today. All of the Clone Troopers were the green variety.

Friday, Aug. 22nd

A-Wing & 12" Leia Speeder Bike

After seeing it posted that these two were going to "web only" items, I decided I better get them on order from Target.com. I had a lot of problem getting my order placed last weekend and I finally had to call them to get it so the order wouldn't automatically cancel itself. It was annoying to have to go through that, but there was a plus side. They gave me a 20% discount for my problems making these pretty cheap. I would have liked to get these at a brick & mortar store so that I could pick ones out in good shape. As it turned out, they arrived in near perfect shape. I ordered two A-Wings. One was perfect; the other had a couple creases not unlike what you would see straight from the case. The 12" Leia Speeder Bike was in better shape than the ones I had picked up at the store. Needless to say I am pretty happy with Target.com.

Thursday, Aug. 21st

Tie Fighter

Ray H. reports that Kay Bee Toys west in Madison had in some of their exclusive Tie Fighters yesterday. At $30, Ray passed on this one.

Saga Scenes

Ray H. reports that Target west in Madison got in some more of these 3-packs. Unfortunately they were all in damaged packaging.

Deluxe Jango Fett Wave

Lastly, Ray reports that Shopko west in Madison had three each of this wave.

Tuesday, Aug. 19th

Clone Wars Jedi Knights & Green Clones

TRU east in Madison had one each of these 3-packs on the pegs this afternoon. These were likely returns, but I don't mind. The Jedi are generic by design, but they still are unique enough to have character. None of the Jedi has articulation below the waist, but the human does have a removable cloak. This doesn't make much sense since the cloak is molded onto his arms. Another plus is that their Lightsabers are removable unlike the Clone Troopers' guns, which are molded into their hands. The green Clone Trooper pack includes a trooper with removable binoculars replacing the crawling trooper.
