Holiday Edition R2-D2 & C-3PO

Wal-Mart west in Madison had two of these sets this morning. The east side store was completely sold of in less than 24 hours. They had so many; it is hard to believe that they sold so fast.

12" Bounty Hunters Wave

Wal-Mart in Sun Prairie had a set of these this morning. Ray H. reports that TRU west in Madison had them earlier in the week.

Holiday Edition R2-D2 & C-3PO

Wal-Mart east in Madison got in a ton of these sets this morning. The sets are exclusive to Wal-Mart and their price is $13.73. For the money you get a really unique set of figures that I still have a hard time believing Hasbro made, a display stand that can hold the backdrop, a greeting card from which the figures are based, an envelope, and very sturdy packaging. The set is much larger than I thought being about an inch wider than a Deluxe figure and about twice as deep. The figures look well done even if they are not movie accurate :)

12" Bounty Hunters Wave

TRU east in Madison had a case of these on the shelf this afternoon while Ian found a case of them at Wal-Mart west in Madison this morning. Included in this wave are Zuckuss, Dengar, and an Imperial Officer. Zuckuss is pretty nice and seems well proportioned (I feared his head would be too small). Dengar is OK, but I don't like his head sculpt. He would have been a lot better if they had used cloth instead of plastic for his head covering. The Imperial officer is better than I expected. He has a really nice head sculpt and uses the newer body that has articulated fingers.
