Silver R2-D2

TRU is now giving away their exclusive silver metalized R2-D2 figure with the purchase of $19.99 in Hasbro Star Wars toys. The figure, based on the POTJ R2-D2 which has wheels and a non-retractable middle leg, is quite nice and the few hints of blue are right on the money. I personally love the black card it is packaged on. You may have to ask the checkout person for one, but there should be plenty. I have heard that TRU east in Madison got in 96 of them while the west side store got in a whopping 160.

Ephant Mon

Ray H. picked up one these figures for me at Wal-Mart west in Madison Thursday. I'm glad since the east side did not get in this wave that I can tell. This is one huge figure. It is hard to describe how big it is without you seeing it in person. The bubble is easily 1.5 times bigger than any other Saga figure's. He is nicely sculpted and will look great in any Jabba's Palace diorama.

Tuesday, Oct. 29th

Target Report

Ray H. reports that Target west in Madison had the Deluxe Clone Trooper wave, Arena playsets, and Gunships between yesterday and today. The east side store in Madison also had a Gunship today. Both stores have their regular figures marked down to $2.99. This is a really good price if you can find any figures you want.

Wal-Mart east in Madison had two each of the Arena playset and Gunship.
