Ackley

Target east in Madison had these on the shelves this morning. My wife was able to pick one up and Joel Y. reports getting one of the four as well. Target's price is $15.99 making this item seem like a really good deal. The figure comes with snapping jaw and claw, spilling guts, and three points of articulation per leg.

Wednesday, June 19th

More Unleashed Figures

I got the Unleashed figures that I ordered from Amazon.com in the mail today. Both Ray H. and Dave P. report that Shopko west in Madison had these today as well. They are interesting in concept, but just don't do it for me. Basically they are statues having some assembly required. They are not in the same scale since Darth Maul is about the same size as Boba (not Jango) Fett. The packaging is darker than the other Saga toys and the bubble has texturing to make it look more dynamic. But, the bubble is so large and the card stock so poor that it warps the card where they are joined. I would be surprised if a decent carded example exists. For card collectors there is a bonus. Each figure comes with a CCG card.

Han Solo Wave

Ray H. reports that Wal-Mart west in Madison got in several cases of this wave today while I saw a couple cases on the pegs at Wal-Mart Sun Prairie. In both instances, they were the cases with only Han (no Chewy or Obi-Wan).

Palpatine Wave

Dave P. reports that Target west in Madison had a few Palpatine and Djas Puhr figures on the pegs today.

12" Ultimate Edition Jango Fett

TRU east in Madison had two cases of these on the shelf today when I stopped by after work.

Nexu Wave

Wal-Mart in Sun Prairie also had a case of these on the pegs as well.

Tuesday, June 18th

More Han Solo Wave

Wal-Mart east in Madison got in a few cases of the Han Solo (Endor Raid) wave today, kind of. The problem is that Han was the only one from this wave in the cases, no Chewy or Obi-Wan (Pilot). Hasbro is making it frustrating to get these figures if they short-pack them to the point that they aren't even there. Steve W. was able to find this same wave at a few of the Wal-Marts in the Milwaukee area. Anyway, Han is an OK figure. He has an odd stance that I don't care for. Articulation wise, he is very similar the Padme in that his right arm has large amounts of articulation, but the other doesn't.

Ackley

Steve W. also reports that a few of the Milwaukee area Targets had Ackleys today. All of them were in damaged boxes of some sort. I wonder if that is a clue on how they all will be or if it was just an odd occurrence.

Monday, June 17th

Unleashed Figures

Ray H. reports that TRU west in Madison had some more Unleashed figures today. Only Maul was left on the pegs.
