More Deluxe Figures
I was able to find the Deluxe figures at K-Mart west in Madison today. K-Mart's price is $9.98, which is in line with what I was expecting the major retailers to charge. Darth Maul with Sith Attack Droid features a heavily painted shirtless Maul. He has two swivel joints on each arm (elbow and forearm) and his lightsaber breaks apart in the middle. The droid is OK, but has limited articulation and seems very tacked on as if Hasbro decided that the Maul figure need an accessory. The odd thing about the figure is that he is posed arched to his right. It is hard to see how the figure could look decent if you move him at all. Luke with Echo Base Bacta Tank a great deal for the money. He comes with some nice and large accessories, but don't expect much for articulation. I only see articulation at his neck and shoulders, nothing else. This is OK by me since this is about the only way that I would pose the figure anyway. Luke comes on a .0000 card while Maul is on a .0100 card. The card stock seems really thin as do the bubbles and I would guess that these will damage really easily.

Beth reports finding the POTJ Deluxe figures at the Wal-Mart in Escanaba. These include Luke with Bacta tank and shirtless Darth Maul. Wal-Mart's price was $9.96 and Beth reports that this store had 50 or so.
