Why No Updates

I have been having the toughest time with this site lately. Until now I haven't been able to upload any updates. They would seem to upload, but nothing would change. Well, it turns out that I ran out of my allotted disk space. Something had to go, so the Magic of Myth photo archive was removed along with a couple of other little things. Now on with the show...

12" Death Star Droid Wave

Ray H. reports that Target west in Madison had some of these today. This is the first time that I have heard of them showing up at a Target. A long time ago it was reported that the DPCI number for this wave is 087-06-0317. I don't know if the number is good, but I think so.

Darth Vader Emperor's Wrath Wave

Thanks to some help, I was able to get this wave last week. Darth Vader has a cool translucent head where his skull can be seen plus some lightning bolts on the outside. His head actually glows in the dark a little bit. His right hand is removable and he has a swivel joint on the right biceps. Luke X-Wing, better known as Buck Tooth Luke, is a vast improvement over the original. He is now in a proper X-Wing outfit instead of a Snowspeeder outfit and he is less buff. Actually he is a lot less buff to the point of maybe being too skinny. His head is a little odd. He doesn't have the black eyes like seen on the prototypes, but his mouth and teeth are such to make him look buck toothed. His only accessory is his helmet. Han looks pretty good, but I wish he had a more neutral leg stance. He has a new head sculpt, which I like, and swivel joints on both biceps. His vest is removable and it looks like the Stormtrooper belt (nicely done) is as well. All three figures came on .0400 cards.
