Re-Release Figures

Target west in Madison got in a large shipment of re-release figures today. Apparently there were at least 4 cases on the pegs. The figures include K-3PO, Coruscant Guard, Saesee Tiin, Mon Calamari Officer, and Gungan Warrior. Thanks to Ray H. and Joe Y. for their reports.

Wednesday, Aug. 29th

12" Death Star Droid Wave

TRU east in Madison got in a case of these today. The case includes two each of Death Star Droid, Death Star Trooper, and Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise. After comparing the ones I picked up today with the photo of the ones at Wizard World, it looks like there may be a packaging change on the Death Star Trooper. The one Ipicked up today had the large helmet on his head while the one at Wizard World had this helmet down on the bottom of the box. It most likely just fell off his head on the one at Wizard World. The large helmet isn't as bad as I thought it might be. It is a little too small in that it should go farther down his back, but isn't that far off. It looks like the helmet is packaged sitting above his head and it should look better when taken out of the package. Otherwise, Han's face is still too narrow and the Death Star Droid is still the best in the group.
