More 12" Captain Tarples & Kaadu
Target east in Madison continues to get in (or put out) more of these. Today, Matt found two of them there. If you are looking for this set, I would ask to see if they have any in the back. Since they are so large, they may only put out a couple at a time.

More 12" Captain Tarples & Kaadu
Target east in Madison had another one of these on the shelf when I stopped by after work. They also had two cases of Sebulba wave on the pegs.
Wednesday, Feb. 7th:
12" Captain Tarpals & Kaadu
Target east in Madison had two of these Target exclusives sitting on the shelf this morning. I knew they would hit our area soon since most of the reports of people finding them have come from neighboring states. Both of the two I saw were in nice boxes, hopefully this is normal considering Target's price is $59.99. First off, it is pretty good sized. Using the pictures on the box, it looks like the Kaadu is the right scale. The Captain Tarpals figure is pretty nice, I'm so glad Hasbro used him instead of Jar Jar (who was originally going to ship with the Kaadu). The only complaints that I have with him is that they didn't put any blue highlights on his body around his arms and both of the ones I saw had sloppy painting of the copper trim on his uniform. The Kaadu has articulated legs, unlike some of the recent Hasbro offerings. The saddle is molded to its body, but it does come with three tall feathers that will need to be attached. The biggest complaint I have with the whole set is that it doesn't come with a long electropole. Instead, it comes with one of the weird blue ball things that I don't think is even in the movie. Overall, the set is pretty nice.
