TRU 2 For 1 Sale
Necklace wrote in to confirm that the Madison TRU will be having the 2 for 1 sale on EP1 figures starting tomorrow. He also writes that they got in whole cases of some figures like Captain Tarpals. I have read other reports of TRUs getting whole cases of OOM-9 and Ki-Adi Mundi. I'm guessing there will be a lot of Collection 3 on the pegs tomorrow. See you there.

Fan Club Foreign 2-Packs
The foreign 2-packs from the Fan Club arrived today. They came with two Star Wars Celebration passes, Porkins and Aura Sing. These 2-packs consist of a normal release figure along with a bonus Battle Droid. The bonus Battle Droid has less articulation and paint detail than the normal carded version. The figures are Obi-Wan Naboo, Darth Maul Jedi Duel, Darth Maul Tatooine, and Queen Amidala Coruscant. Mine arrived in OK shape, but they could have been better. The interesting thing about these is they are altered from what would have shipped in the other countries. They are "Americanized" by having added stickers with warnings and trademark information. I really like these 2-packs, if anyone has a good source for them that doesn't charge an arm and a leg, please let me know.
Cheap CommTech Readers
G reports that Kohl's south in Madison has the CommTech readers marked down to $7 with an additional 33% off. This brings the final price to $4.69, pretty cheap if you are looking for one to play with.

The Wisconsin Collectors Page
Aaron has his page back up and running after being down for a few months. If you are in the Fox Valley, this is THE page to see.
Welcome Back Aaron!

Wuher
I got my Wuher figures today from the Fan Club. He is on a .0000 card and there is black tape over what I would presume to be a printed warning. This is similar to the early Chancellor Valorum figures, but the tape looks better. The figure is a good likeness, but the glass is molded into his hand. All of the figures I ordered arrive in good shape. Each figure came with a Star Wars Celebration pass. This is the first pass that I have gotten so it is kind of neat.
Wave 2 Accessory Sets
DaveL reports finding the 2nd series accessory sets at the Ben Franklin in Darlington. It looks like Ben Franklin is the place to look for these. That particular store had them priced at $4.65 making it a particularly good deal.
Farce Wars, The Phantom Meanies
Ray H. reports finding these at the Mr. Bulky in the West Town in Madison. They were on sale for $5 each. If you haven't seen them, they are really well done knock-offs of Star Wars characters done as beanies (like Hasbro's Buddies). My favorite is Darth Maul with double spaded shovel while Ray likes Slobba the Mutt. There are 6 total in the series.
Foreign 2-Packs Ship
The foreign 2-packs that I ordered from the Fan Club have now shipped. If you ordered, keep an eye open for yours.
