Wave 2 Accessory Sets
This is an interesting bit of news, G reports finding the 2nd wave of accessory sets at Ben Franklin in Waunakee. This is the very hard to find group that includes Hyperdrive Repair, Podrace Fuel Station, Repel Line Attack, and Tatooine Disguise. The price was $7.99, which is very reasonable considering how hard they are to find.
12" Padme Discontinued?
EToys has changed the status of the 12" Padme to "Discontinued". They were the only place that I have ever seen to sell this item, I hope you got one.
Extras for sale
I have some extra figures for sale because of my recent bulk buying spree. I have Darth Vader with both versions of the CommTech chip. Plus, I have Luke, Han, and Jawa all with white background CommTech chips. If you need any of these, let me know. I am willing to trade and am particularly looking for a Greedo with white CommTech chip.

R2-D2 Holo Leia & Motti Wave
I got the two cases of figures that I ordered from Entertainment Earth today. These were the Stormtrooper wave and Motti wave cases. They arrived in very good shape. The R2-D2 with Holo Leia is real nice; too bad it is so hard to get. The only problem I have with it is that the foot peg isn't painted like the rest of the leg. The Leia with hood up is pretty nice and she has a cloth skirt. The Motti figure is dead on, this is a very good sculpt. He has articulation in the one arm at the elbow and wrist. For the variation hunters out there, R2-D2, Leia, and Motti are all on .0000 cards. R2-D2 had a holo background on the commtech chip while Leia & Motti were both white. Also in the cases were Stormtroopers, Hans, and Lukes with both holo and white commtech chips. All of the Darth Vaders had white backgrounds as did the Jawa while Greedo had a holo background. The R2-D2 case ended in a "1" while the Motti case ended in a "4".
Fan Club Orders Update
My Wuher order has moved on to "Shipped Complete" while the foreign 2-packs are still "Processing". Hopefully I will be getting the Wuher pretty soon.
Thursday, Feb. 24th:
Queen's Ship
Target east in Madison had the Queen's Ship marked down to $59.90. If I understand how their clearance works, there will be at least one more mark down.
TRU Clearance
TRU in Madison got in some A-Wings and T-16s today. I was waiting for the A-Wings to show since I wanted to get another and at $9.97 I couldn't pass one up. Missing was the Darth Vader Tie.
Darth Maul vs. Obi-Wan 2-Pack
Dave P. took his Darth Maul vs. Obi-Wan 2-Pack around to some of the stores to see if it would scan. He got his from Entertainment Earth a while back. It scanned at Wal-Mart, Target, and TRU. The best price was at Wal-Mart at $12.96. It's positive news that other stores will be getting these in.
Fan Club Orders
My orders from the Fan Club for both Wuher and the foreign 2-packs has gone from "All Backordered" to "Processing" so hopefully these will be shipping soon.

Mega Mini Update
Needless to say, news has been really slow. To make matters worse, I haven't been getting out much to hunt lately. Blame OPEC for that. Anyway, I have several little things that I was saving to tack on with other news.
TC-14 & R2-B1
I got the ones I ordered from BigE early last week. They came in good shape so at least I am having some luck with them. The TC-14 was on a .0000 card while the R2-B1 was on a .0100 card. If you have these in the opposite card variation than I do and you want to trade, let me know. Both are pretty nice figures if you are into minor characters and droids, but there isn't anything stand-out great about them.
New Classic Commtech at Ent. Earth
Entertainment Earth has the Stormtrooper wave and Motti wave for sale. Since I haven't seen anything new in our area, I decided to order them. I'll let you know how it goes. It bothers me that I have to order these figures by the case like this just to get an R2-D2 with Holo Leia, but it seems like the only way.
Don't Hold Out
Out of curiosity, I scanned and printed the UPCs from the 12" Amidala Return to Naboo, 12" Padme, and Watto's Box. I took these scans around to the stores in the area to see if the price scanners read them. Well, I couldn't get it to work at Wal-Mart, but at TRU and Target they all showed as "UPC Not On File". I don't think these stores are ever going to get these in so don't hold out.
KBKids.com Sale
As you may have read, KBKids.com is having a sale on many Star Wars items. The ones of most interest are 12" Amidala Return to Naboo at $29.95 and the Queen's ship at $54.95.
CommTech Reader Variation
For those that are really into variations, the CommTech reader is now on a .0200 card. The card now has a warning printed on the front and the Anakin Naboo wave pictured on the back.
