Sunday, Dec. 5th:

TRU West to Close

Necklace reports that the new TRU store will be closing mid-January due to poor sales. Once closed, there will not be a west side TRU until a new store is built. They are expecting to have a new store built by September 2000. The current store won't be getting any new product in unless it is an advertised item.

Lego Tie Interceptor

Daniel O. sends in this picture of the Lego Tie Interceptor due out in July. I admit not being a Lego collector, but I know a lot of you are.

Saturday, Dec. 4th:

Shopko Sale / Clearance

Shopko is having a sale on Star Wars toys and they are also clearancing many of them as well.

Figures: $5.99

Naboo Fighter: $11.99

STAP: $4.99

12" Portrait Edition Dolls: $15.99

Banks: $13.99-19.99

Classic Action Fleet: $4.99

Green Card Figures: $1.99

Classic 3-Packs: $3.99

3D Dioramas: $3.99

All of these are clearance prices except for the $5.99 figures. There is a lot more that I just can't remember. That is not a typo on the 12" Dolls, they are really that cheap. These are the same ones that I paid $40-$60 for on May 3rd. That $15.99 includes the Leia Ceremonial as well as the two Amidala dolls.

Thursday, Dec. 2nd:

More Holo Sidious & Naboo Guard

Dave L. reports finding these at the Dodgeville Wal-Mart. I also saw more at Wal-Mart east in Madison.

Wednesday, Dec. 1st:

More Holo Sidious & Naboo Guard

G made a stop at Wal-Mart west in Madison today and found more of these two. Plus she got the updated Yoda with "Episode I" text and the new short bubble R2-D2. They also had a peg of Anakin Naboo and a peg of Adi Gallia.

K-Mart Ad

I got in the mail today a K-Mart ad. In it they have figures (looks like EP1 only) for $4.99, Droid Fighter $10, EP1 Beast Assortment $10, Hidden Majesty Doll $10, and 12" Electronic Figures $20. Keep in mind that most stores will price match if you have the ad with you.

Tuesday, Nov. 30th:

Hologram Sidious & Naboo Guard

I walked into Wal-Mart east in Madison today and what should I spy on the pegs but the Hologram Darth Sidious and Naboo Royal Guard figures. What a nice surprise they were to see. Dave P. writes that TRU east got these in as well. They are both on .0000 cards and their CommTech lines do match the chip. They all had the Jedi Quest sticker on the back. Also seen on the shelves were Captain Panaka with the sticker on the back and Naboo Royal Security. Dave P. says that the R2-D2 came in a slimmer bubble similar to the new Han figure, but I didn't notice this. Missing were any Yodas, Nutes, or Runes. Holo Sidious seems to have 5 points of articulation at the head, shoulders and wrists, but who knows if they really move or not. The Naboo Royal Guard is a real nice figure, much better than the Naboo Royal Security.

Adi-Gallia & Anakin Naboo

Wal-Mart east in Madison also got in 5 cases of Adi-Gallia and 2 cases of Anakin Naboo. The interesting thing about the Anakin Naboo cases were that they were 16 count cases instead of 32 count cases.
