Tatooine Showdown 3-Pack & Adi Gallia
Goblin23 reports that the Target in Menomonee Falls had in these in today. They also had a couple Adi-Gallias.
TRU West
As many of you know, TRU west is closing Oct. 9th. Necklace tells me that they are no longer getting any more new merchandise. Old stock will be either clearanced out or shipped to another store.
Pepsi Can Holder
Ray wrote in to say that he received his can holder from Pepsi and that it is pretty nice. He ordered his pretty much right away. Keep a look out for this to be showing up in the mail if you ordered one.
Thursday, Sept. 2nd:
New 12" Scale Figures
TRU east in Madison got in all of the new 12" scale figures today. These include the 12" Watto, Obi-Wan, and Battle Droid along with the 6" Anakin, Pit Droids and R2-A6. The 12" figures all look real good, the biggest complaint that I could give is that Obi-Wan's hands look too big. Not much to complain about there. The Battle Driod is very nice as well and I hope to open one soon. I did get the last R2-A6, so I was a happy camper. I also opened up a set of the Pit Droids. These are real cool, but they do have one flaw. First, I was low on my guess on articulation, there are 18 points per figure. The flaw is that even with all of this articulation, they can't fold up. The joints don't rotate far enough to allow it.
Monday, Aug. 30th:
More 6" Anakin Wave
Wal-Mart east in Madison had one case of these this morning. I missed out on the R2-A6, but the other two. The Anakin is going to be common. It is just plain looking and doesn't come with any real accessories. The Pit Droids are great. You get two droids and they are highly articulated. Each one has at least 14 points of articulation and seem to be able to fold up. I have to get another set to open.
