Late Posting

I was out of town for a three-day weekend; thus some of the news is late getting posted.

Yoda & Tarpals Waves

As I expected, Wal-Marts across the state got these in this weekend. The Oshkosh Wal-Mart had 8-10 cases of the Yoda wave and 3 or so cases of the Tarpals wave on Friday morning. Most every Wal-Mart between Oshkosh and Madison had some remnants of the Tarpals wave yet today. All of the Tarpals that I saw were on .0100 cards. All of the OOM-9 that I saw were the newer version with the binoculars packaged in his hand. All of the Yodas were on .0000 cards that are missing "Episode I" on the front.

New Collection 1 Wave

There was a case or two at TRU east on Thursday night. No Anakin Naboo to be seen and I don't think they had it.

Tri-Con Toys

All of the KFC toys are now out. I picked up the Boss Nass Squirter, Naboo Ground Battle, and Opee Sea Creature Chaser today. The only one that I am now missing is the Transforming Anakin Bank from Taco Bell.

Shmi Skywalker Can

This can is out now (at least in the Waupaca area).

Lays / Pepsi Poster

K-Mart is running a promotion along with Lays and Pepsi for a small poster. Buy a 5-6 oz. bag of chips and a 24 pack of soda and you get a small poster. There are 4 posters with this weeks being Queen Amidala.

Wednesday, July 7th:

Tarpals Wave

Target west in Madison had the Tarpals wave figures in today. For you variation collectors out there, Tarpals was on a .0100 card and OOM-9 had the binoculars in the bubble (not in his hand).
