Week of: Mar. 22nd, 1999

Saturday, Mar. 27th:

Wal-Marts across the area got in the new 12" figures today. East side store had 2 cases, west side had some, and I saw some up in Oshkosh.

I would like to apologize for the lack of updates, but I have been working horrendously long hours for the last couple weeks. Now to catch up on some of this weeks happenings.

Necklace reports that TRU west in Madison received a message that the warehouse does have EP1 toys in stock, but will not be shipping them to stores until the night before they can go on sale.

Dave P. informs me that KB east in Madison had in more of the 12" electronic Boba Fetts.

Dave P. also tells me that Target east in Madison has gotten in a couple of cases of figures that are part 8D8 wave and part EU. I would guess that the Target in Oshkosh has also been getting these in since the only figure on the pegs is a half dozen 8D8s It's kind of weird to see.

It would appear that Shopko south in Madison had Mynok Hunts early in the week as evidenced by the two Jabba's Dancers packs, but only one Jedi Dual pack.

It would also seem that Shopko east in Madison has had in some Han Taun Taun beast packs early in the week since they had two Luke Wampa Beast packs, but no Luke Taun Tauns.

Both Madison area Wal-Marts and TRUs have gotten in the Lego sets. I have seen 4 of the five, but have missed the darth Vader & Y-Wing set. These seem to me to be a little too expensive for what they are, but they seem to be flying off the shelves.

The new Insider is out, I got mine on Thursday.

Plus I got the TRU Japan exclusive 10-pack today. I have been trying to get one of these in decent shape and at a good price for a long time now.
