Week of: Dec. 2nd, 1998

Sunday, Dec. 6th:

TRU east in Madison got in the 0004 case of EU figures that contains the Spacetrooper and Darktrooper figures. I was able to get one of the Spacetroopers, but missed out on the Darktroopers. I'm guessing that the west side had these yesterday and I just saw the leftovers. While I was at the east side store, a stock person had a large box of old figures that he was putting out. There must have been close to 100 figures in the box. I wonder how many more they have in back.

Saturday, Dec. 5th:

Both Targets in Madison have plenty of their 12" exclusives. The west side has about as many of these packs stuffed onto that endcap as you could imagine would fit. Target is doing a great job of getting plenty of these things in.

TRU west in Madison had a few of the 12" C-3PO/R2-D2 2-packs. They also had 10 mixed EU figures. TRU east in Madison had 4 of the 12" C-3PO/R2-D2 2-packs. These will be easy to find due to utter lameness of this exclusive.

Friday, Dec. 4th:

In my haste yesterday, I forgot to put all of the news up. The new Insider is out, it features Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan on the cover. Also, I received the two Mace Windu figures that I ordered.

Late last night on a couple of tips, I headed over to TRU west in Madison. After a little waiting around they brought a partial case of the 12" R2-D2/C-3PO 2-packs. Not as cool as I would like for the price ($50), but thought myself lucky (thanks for the tips guys). After work today I noticed that TRU east in Madison had 3 of these packs on the shelf as well.

Wal-Mart east in Madison got in a 0002 case of the EU Figures. I finally got all of the short packed figures and now await the Darktrooper/Spacetrooper case.

Target east in Madison had a couple of the 12" Han Carbonite packs today. It is pretty impressive seeing all 3 of the Target 12" exclusives on the store shelves together. I expect that the west side store got in a ton of these.

Chris P. reports finding the Darth Vader gunner station at Software Etc. in Madison. They are labeled at $6.99, but ring up at $4.99.

Greg L. reports from the Northridge (Milwaukee) area. Target gets in the H12" Han Carbonite pack and TRU gets in the Classic 8 figures. TRU also had in the Mynok Hunt 3-pack earlier in the week. He also received the Muftak and Kabe Internet exclusive figures, so keep an eye on your mailbox.

Thursday, Dec. 3rd:

As expected, Wal-Mart east in Madison got in their share of the 12" exclusives. I saw one case of the 12" Cantina Band Members and 3 cases of the 6" exclusives. Dave P. tells of finding these at Wal-Mart in Sun Prairie as well.

Wednesday, Dec. 2nd:

Wal-Mart west in Madison had a ton of their 6" exclusive figures, too many to count easily. They also had 3 sets of the 12" Cantina Band Members.

Target west in Madison still has a ton of the 12" Luke/Wampa 2-packs and they had 10 of the Emperor/Royal Guard 2-packs. Target east in Madison was out of the Luke/Wampa, but had in 5 of the Emperor/Royal Guard. I'm glad these exlusives this year are easy to come by.

Thanks to a tip from Neck Lace, I headed to TRU west in Madison this morning. He said that they were getting in 5 cases of the Classic 8 figures, but when I got there they only had a couple Luke and Leia figures left.

Farm & Fleet in Baraboo has quit a few Han/Taun Taun beast packs. There must have been at least 10 of these.
