Both TRU east & west in Madison
got in the Galoob Episode I sneak preview playset. It's not much of a playset really, but it was only $19.99 vs. $29.99 like I had heard. Also, it is in a smaller box than I thought, much the same as the TRU 2-pack Action Fleet.TRU east in Madison also had 4 pegs of EU figures, I was able to finally get the two short packed figures. The EU figures seem easier to get than some of the last case assortments.
Walden Books east in Madison had the Anakin Book today. At 25% off, it might not be a bad buy. This is one of the best packages to be found and I wish all 12" figures were packaged this way.
Jeffery L. reports seeing a 12" Chewy at Wal-Mart east in Madison on Friday at 8:00am. This would be after I was there, so maybe there were two cases instead of just one.
My e-mail is now fixed, so don't hesitate to report anything.
Friday, Nov. 13th:
Wal-Mart east in Madison
got in a case of the Jedi Wave 12" figures. The Chewbacca was nowhere to be found. Also, it appears that they had 3 or more cases of the 12" scale exclusives. Wal-Mart in Stoughton got in more of the first two Rebo Band Pairs. Included were the .00/.00 version of Barquin D'an and Droopy McCool. If you are looking for this variation, I suggest you head there. For some reason, I cannot receive e-mail right now. This hasn't happened before, but because of the weekend I don't expect it to get fixed before Monday. Please don't hesitate to send me stuff, I will compile it once the problem is fixed.
Thursday, Nov. 12th:
Wal-Mart east in Madison
got in two cases of their 12", or should I say 6" exclusive figures. Some were up high on the shelf, so don't forget to look there.Wednesday, Nov. 11th:
Thanks to Dave P., I now am the proud owner of the Mynock Hunt 3-pack. Also, talking with him, he tells me that Target east in Madison had in two cases of the EU Figures late last night.
Tuesday, Nov. 10th:
Dave P. was able to confirm that the .07 case of Cinema Scenes that I saw at TRU east in Madison did indeed contain the Mynock Hunt 3-pack. So keep your eyes open for these.
Monday, Nov. 9th:
TRU east in Madison
had a .07 case of Cinema Scenes with three Jabba's Dancers in it. I think I might have just missed the Mynock Hunt 3-pack.Sunday, Nov. 8th:
TRU west in Madison
had some EU figures today. Talking with a stock person, someone had hidden these and that they were from the shipment earlier in the week. Of course the two short-packed figures were nowhere to be found.I was at the toy show at Quality Inn in Madison today. Some things were noteworthy. It seems that the dealers are trying to get rid of their old POTF2 figures. You could have put together a set of red card commons for $4 each and I saw a guy with quite a few Slave Leias priced at $3 each. I myself picked up the 12" FAO Tarkin / Gunner 2-pack for $60.
