93.5 WTPA, radio DJ 'Trapper' said, "Unlike Jim Morrison,
singer Joe Elliott of DEF LEPPARD prefers to play soccer,
golf or tennis rather than hangin out at a bar. He's been
sober quite a few years now!"
Lunchtime trivia question on WTPA 'Trapper' asked a question
concerning the Rolling Stones. I recalled on 'Visualize'
home video, where Joe Elliott of DEF LEPPARD was on a TV
quiz game show. The answer Joe yelled out before the
question was even asked--"Bill Wyman!"--even though the
annoucer had never finished the question! That answer came
to mind, as 'Trapper' asked this trivia question: "Which
Rolling Stones band member was the 1st to have his own
solo project?" I would've won four Pizza's if the line
wasn't already busy, because of Joe Elliott, I knew the
answer to a question I had never heard before!
Tues., Oct. 19, 1999 dream:
While drivin thru town where road construction was bein
done, Bob, who was drivin, stopped the car in the middle of
the street. Jeremy and I got out and saw that he had
parked on top of a bomb! We went inside a mall where Bob
worked. I met Gale for lunch at a diner. Viv was seated
in a booth talkin with a couple girls. We walked past him,
allowin him his privacy. Joe was not in the diner, tho I
remembered seein him earlier with Viv, his sidekick.
'Hawaiian Chris James' on WTPA said, "One band member who
joined this rock group once said, 'I could not play an
instrument or sing, but I looked really good,' and that
was singer Joe Elliott of Def Leppard!"
Tues., Oct. 26, 1999:
Dream #3 o' Phil! attendin a 2nd show of da Lepps, I was
in an awkward position with respect to the stage. The
first show had been great crowd, large, packed arena--but
this was more like a half-filled auditorium. I seemed to
be sitting far off to the side even more behind the stage,
my dad was a DJ on an oldies' station. He was talkin bout
Def Leppard when the show ended. I then watched Sav, Joe
and Viv turn to leave the stage. Rick still sat at his
drumkit, but Phil ran up to the top of some cascadin stairs
that were in front of me. He turned, guitar swingin, then
began to play/sing solo right where he stood! Just then,
he turned and looked at me when some fans ran up the stairs
after him!
It was unusual to have 2 dreams, of seein 2 shows, only
Phil was preeminent in this 2nd half-crowded house where my
dad was a DJ! oh well, it's still Phil!:-)
Gale's daughter, Cynda, told me bout a dream she had:
Dawn, Cynda and I were at a personal, private party-show.
I had a purple shirt on--Joe asked me to go up on stage and
dance with him!:-)
Sat, dream Sav appeared before me at a Def Leppard show;
Tues, dream this time Sav, Phil and Rick A. were all in my
presence;
Thurs, Nov. 18 dream:
This morning, I dreamt I was at a sidewalk cafe, when Joe
walked over and sat down at a table next to mine. I looked
over at Joe and said casually, "Hi, Joe, how are you?"
Joe answered sayin, "I'm fine, Ruth, how have you been?"
A few people at another table looked surprised, when I
answered Joe, "I'm doin ok," then as usual, I woke up... :-)
