1993
We hear Def Leppard's medley playing on local radio
station "Starview 92." Dawn races to place 3 credit card
orders for the Leps' Baltimore gig in March. Five days
before the show, two feet of snow dumps on the east coast.
While standin down front at concert, I yelled, "F--k
the snow!" Joe looked as though he heard me!

* Stage 3 Row F Seat 6
* * (We were way in the back, but at stage level;
had to walk past middle in-the-round set up)
By a certain stroke of luck, we managed to get "stage"
seats rather than high up. We arrived at the arena and
we're told we're lucky to have "stage" tickets... where
we sit is far off to the left of the middle... the music
starts and after much hesitation, I moved to front and
center stage. On his way to the bathroom, Jeremy
stopped by the "round" set up to see Def Leppard up
front. I had him summon Dawn, so we stayed the whole
show, then becomin an active part in the best stage
performance in my concert history! Amazing performance!
Sav played acoustic "Tonight" on steps in front of us.
"Rocket" equipment loomed over our heads. They played
a "medley". Joe Elliott, you really made me feel like
an actual human being in your performance; Rick Savage,
I saw your eyes peek at me out of the corner of your hair;
Phil Collen, you are a real person in my eyes...
you picked up the bag I threw on stage at the end;
Rick Allen, I yelled "Happy Birthday" to you; and
Vivian Campbell--you're the newcomer, but I could see
why they picked you!
So I wanted to let you know and "Thank you, thank you,
thank you for a most wonderful, intense show of my
life... keep it comin!"
I threw Hershey's Kisses on stage with a gift bag full of Love
Fortune Cookies: One that read, "Love Is A Four Letter Word"!
