Not too much is actually known about this evil man... His actual age is unknown, yet official records report of a mage which went by Scytis allied with Darenist Wrymvenbane during the Hundred Year War. Rumor has it, Scytis and Scythic are the same man. If that is the case, then Scythic was preparing for the coming of Traz during the early part of the Age of Redemption. Close to 200 years before the first known records of Traz. It is said that Scythic was behind the split of the house of Wrymvenbane. He corrupted the youngest brother, Darenist, who ruled the land of now Nothern Notirb...this just happens to be the staging area and home of Traz's menions. Over the years now Scythic, corrupted the Red Wrymvenbane line as well as the blue line. Already with two powerful nations under his thumb, he set his sites on the Black Wryymven bane of the south...Brion. It was here that Sir Browen the Bold stepped in and allied with Brion. The rest is history. |

Again, not too much is offically known about the evil mage called Scythic. There are many children's stories about: - "bad man with no skin on his face will take you from your bed if you don't go to sleep...or if you disobey your parents." -"to kill is to embrace Death" -"to steal will call upon the boogy man to your door..." No one is sure what Scythic looks like, some say to find out is worse than looking at Medusa. |

This is Scythic's symbol...or Signet. ***Note: I scanned this symbol in from one of the many modules that I have. I modified it a bit...the horns were added in. This is not my art work, but I like it.***

****NOTE: LORD AGRY and his picture I got from the D&D module called "Sword and Shield" by John Terra. I liked the character of Lord Agry and decided to keep him in my paper world. I have changed him ALOT to fit URSA and my liking...but the name and picture ARE NOT MINE. :)*****

On 91 in the Age of Darkness, Agry Wrymvenbane was born into the Red Wrymvenbane House. Destined to rule Western Notirb, Agry's training to knighthood began early. He quickly learned the art of horsemenship and became deadly with the sword by the age of 15. Spending more time in the church than at practice, Agry was laughed at. It was said that he didn't spend enough time practicing to be good...even though he was already beating the best. Agry's devotion to his faith paid off. When Agry was knighted, three avatars came to the ceremony representing, Hel...Hiddukel...and Hextor. Not only was Agry promoted to knighthood...but also elevated to the rank of (anti)Paladin...of not just one, but all three. The first Anti-paladin of The Triad. |

On his 23rd birthday Sir Agry's name was already feared amongst the land. Sir Agry was granted the title of Duke and a good chunk of land to rule. 6 years later he challenged his own father to a joust for the right to rule all of Western Notirb. Duke Agry, under divine intervention, charged in on his father and skewered him on Agry's lance. He hung his father(lance still in him) on the front gates to Castle Agrious, a warning of the times to come. Now Lord Agry, he drove his armies north to re-unite the two families of Wrymvenbane...after a brief, 3 day seige. Now in control of the majority of Notirb, Lord Agry began sending his influnce over seas...alliying with the Falconhands for their gold and iorn mines and the strenght of their armies. In the year of 140 in the Age of Darkness...two armies meet just west of The Moors. Lord Agry and his armies as well as Falconhand....against the third brother..yet his army was led by Sir Browen the Bold. The two armies clashed...though Lord Agry's armies had superior weapons and armor, he could not beat the strategic mind of Sir Browen. Leading Lord Agry to think that Sir Browen's men were on the run...Lord Agry closed for the kill, only to find himself flanked on both sides...the houses of Swiney and Caladon on his right...The Great Divide on his left with the dwarves of Thorojax charging down the steep slopes and the Black-Wrymvenbane to the front...Lord Agry's armies were stormed over. Sir Browen and Lord Agry meet on the battle field. The fight which took place was later called The Battle of The Faiths. Priest say that you could actualy see other beings...gods...standing with both combatants. The Triad versus The Fellowship...Sir Browen the Bold ended Lord Agry's evil rule with a powerful thrust through Lord Agry's heart. Sir Browen's Holy Blade...Smiter of Evil...took Lord Agry's life. Lord Agry's Castle. |

Arch-Bishop Durameter
Not alot can be said about the Arch-Bishop Durameter. He was born in 74 in the Age of Darkness and was raised in the church of The Triad. Quickly climbing the ranks to priest hood...Durameter showed vast strength and power in his faith. Arch-Bishop Durmeter was present at Lord Agry's knighting, and crowning. It is said that Arch-Bishop is still alive, serving Scythic... |
