Snowcone: I got bored in Latin earlier this week, so I did a little sketching with my nice shiny new black pen. I was amazed at how well this turned out. I did have to use white out once, but that was for a HUGE mistake that I made. Then I hung the pic up in my locker. So now I have a faerie eating a snowcone in my locker. |
|
Catgirl 2: Actually, I drew this catgirl before the other one, I didn't post it until now because I was planning on colouring it in photoshop. I might still, but I don't have time right now. |
|
Plant Life: I rarely use pencil crayons, I'm not good with color, but one day I decided to try them out again, and I kinda like this one. Sorry I couldn't think of a good name though. Sometimes the name just come to me, sometimes they sort of flop. Like this. |
|
Phoenix - drawing #2: Same flying fire shooting girl, but this was a marker sketch, no photocopying or pencil involved. That's why the hatch shading looks so awful. |
|
The Holy Order of Gruvemburg Hurbknobler: I started a dungeons and dragons campaign over the internet, through email, with a few friends from school, and these are our characters. We have Cloud the human warrior, Kitiara the female elf archer, Folor the human priest of light, Gaen the gnomish warrior(with the sword), and my guy Gruvemburg Hurbknobler a gnomish thief with a god complex. |
|
Phoenix - colouring #1: Back in grade nine I came up with a few ideas for "another" teenage group of superheroes, and phoenix was one of them. I have only drawn her once before, but my ideas for her have reworked theselves a bit over the years. She was the first character I came up with for the story, and then the rest were basically so she would have soe friends. |
|
Phoenix - colouring #2: I drew this picture in pencil, photocopied it twice, and then colored the photocopies. I like the other version a lot better. Except the hair in this one is WAY better than the other one. Oh, and her super powers? She heals quicker than noral, shoots fireballs from her hands, and has grown wings. (they're a real pain for her to hide) |
|
Adrenalynn: This is a fan art I made of the comic character Adrenalynn, I made it for a contest at Adrenalynn.net and I hope it wins. Drawn by hand in pencil, coloured with the computer, and then pasted in a background made from the first page of my comic(go check it out in the manga section) This is what I consider my best coloured art so far. |
|
Catgirl: Just a miscelaneous cat girl that I drew. Again coloured on the computer. I'll try to get my coloured art up here soon, but there isn't a whole lot of it. |
|
Faerie: I don't really
have a name for this one, I just put faerie because that's what it
is. |
 |
The Hell That Is She: This one was going to be a character for my comic, but I cut her
from the plot. She was going to be a demon that works for Lucifer, and she
likes to eat people. Even more so, she likes to eat angels. Where people
are a fast food burger, angels are the most tender veal. |
 |
Nick: This is the main
character from my comic that I plan on making. He's Irish. He has a fast
bike, a penchant for drinking, and far too many speeding tickets. And he's
the only human character in my comic. This is the first drawing that I
made of him. |
|
Lost: This is one of
my favorite drawings that I've ever done. It started it all. I got my
ideas for my comic first from this picture. After about a year of grade
ten art and all through grade school putting out some okay work, this got
me really into my art. I have this picture to thank for so much, because
it was the beginning. |
 |
Angel: This is
probably my first drawing that I've made with color that has turned out
well. The story behind this picute is odd. I was cleaning up all the junk
on my desk, it was a foot high at the time, and I came across two packs of
unopened Crayola markers. I quickly finished clearing off my desk, and
then I just sat down and sort of sketched this out. And I have to tell
you, I'm horribly surprised that it turned out this well. |
 |
Mephistophelia: Okay,
originally I had planned to make a short series of drawings of
elemental/nature spirit drawings but not the typical four elements of
fire, water, earth and air. she didn't have wings or horns and she was
supposed to be the spirit of light. Then I decided to draw on the wings
and then I realised that with the bat like wings, she would be really good
with horns as a fallen angel. I had just finished reading the play of
Faustus, and one of the devils in that is named Mephistophilis, and so I
sort of just tacked on Ophelia and there's the title. |
 |
Lost Hunter: This was
also going to be a character in my comic. But after a bit of thinking, and
finally figuring out what the plot was going to be like, I cut a ton of
the characters that I had been planning. This was one of them. She was
going to be a person who had sold her soul to the devil, and was now
constantly on the run to keep him from collecting. And it was going to be
weird because Nick would want to help her, but the- oh, never mind. I'll
put it all in my comic section later. But for one thing, this picture
ended up making the character look far too young. It's nice, but not one
of my better ones I think. |
|
Titalia: This was the
forst drawing that I made for that Nature Spirit series that I sort of
started. I did this one, then the spirit of light(which turned into
Mephistophelia) and then it didn't go any further. Titalia is the spirit
of plants and nature and such, I'm sure you all get the
idea. |
