The Lone Gunmen were having a bad day. First, Frohike's
frying pan broke, so they had to
drive forty miles to buy some pizza from a secure
location. Then, the backup generator for the
backup tracing jammer broke, and, since you can't ever be
too cautious, they had to make a
new one, which put a serious dent in their daily
schedule. In fact, they even had to cut out the
daily cattle mutilation count!
So, it was no surprise to find Mulder standing outside
their door, holding Krycek by the ear
and frowning furiously. "Look what I found lurking
around the door," the FBI agent said.
Krycek whined, "But I'm supposed to be here. I come
here every third Thursday on odd
months. It's like a ritual."
Mulder looked at the three gunmen doubtfully. "Is
this true?" Langly nodded, looking a bit
uncomfortable. Mulder noticed and asked, "You don't
do...that, do you?"
