I’m writing this review for those out there with the “Man,
I want one of those but its soo expensive!” mindset. Yes, when I found
the Colonial Marine Rifleman figure page I thought the same thing and that
goes back to summer ‘98. I looked it over thinking man, thats alot, but
since I have friendswho both cast professionally and for personal use,
I know what goes into making a kit like this, and Its alot of work.
And most small companies like EVA usually Don’t have such fantastic casting
reproductions as this kit has! When I finally decided to take the plunge,
I was worried that there would be alot of clean up on the parts-There is
NONE. Just trim them off the carriers and wash and paint. The instructions
and nicely written and easy do decipher. The detail is crisp and the surfaces
smooth-fantastic work. This kit is amazing! There are also TONS of small parts-so be warned! But they are necessary in oder to give it such an excellent amount of detail. I really cant express that enough. So please, if you’re an ALIENS fan, save up and give it a shot, its worth it. I guarantee you won’t be disapointed!
