Word has reached us that the leader of the Red Army Faction (Guerillaisimo), Barder has been found dead, asphyixiated with an orange in his mouth.
Most people are assuming that this was the work of the Spandex Militia as reports of them fighting the Guerillas two nights ago have reached us. Reports are sketchy but most agree that Barder was already a captive of the Militia at this point.
It seems that things went badly for the Guerillas although just before they fled some pit-slaves turned up to reinforce them. It is unclear whether or not these were Gorg's Avengers some people report having seen members of the Underhive's Mightiest Heros but the Captain was seen to be in Old Sump Falls that night and some of the fighters described are not known to be members of the Avengers. Whoever they were these fighters continued to fight even after the Guerillas had fled but were in turn, beaten off.
We attempted to gain an interview with the Guerillas but found thier camp abandoned. Several members of the Guerillas have been spotted in Free Habanna with members of the Reconsituted Red Army Faction (Shining Path). Confusingly Ho, the leader of the RRAF(SP) has been seen in the west of the dome where the name of the Continuity Red Army Faction has sprung up.
Having made the trip to Old Sump Falls we were informed that the Captain was unavailable to comment.
Many questions remain. Has the Captain left Gorg's Avengers? If not, who were these pit-slaves? What does Barder's death mean for the Red Army Faction (Guerillaismo)? What has happened to the leadership of the Reconstituted Red Army Faction (Shining Path)? What is the Continuity Red Army Faction? And what does all this mean for the Freedom Coaltion as a whole?
