What is Demonworld?


Brief Description15mm classical fantasy battle system. Uses regiments with fixed size and properties taken from army lists with point values for units and some race specific restrictions on army construction. Unit oriented maneuvering rules with a historical feel, moving and fighting in an order determined by simple orders (not Igo-hugo). Played on a hex map. Published in German, Italian and French.

ScaleNot given; but units make sense on a 1:1 or up to 1:4 scale. One hex = ca 1.5'' = 10 yards.
BasingModels are based on special hex bases. Infantry: 2-5 miniatures per base, 12-48 miniatures per unit; cavalry: 1-2 miniatures per base, 6-20 miniatures per unit. Heroes, wizards, dragons, giants etc based on individual bases; large models on bases covering several hexes.
ContentsBase set: four hex maps with terrain, rule book, counters (for orders, spells, fire, hit points), unit information cards for some empire and orc units, paper counters for these units or two regiments' worth of miniatures (depending on the edition).
Army books: army lists and info cards for all units, detailed historical, geographical and cultural background for one race each (Human empire, orcs, dwarfs, Isthak (Undead, beastmen, demons, ice witches), elfs, Thain (human, keltic tribal))
