Tiger Shark, a male fighter, was orpaned when he was four years old in the city of Zhentil Keep. He grew up with a fierce hatred of opressive rulers and stupid laws, yet knew that if they were used right, they could be highly effective. His orphan childhood created many problems for him after he escaped the orphanage and ran from Zhentil Keep, thus beginning his adventuring career. He was a loner, a queit man who stuck to himself. Adventuring has changed all that....

Despite always ending up in 2nd or 3rd place when young, he was determined to make something of himself. He knew he could be strong, but didn't know how strong. He wandered for a couple of years through the northern Dalelands, learning the ways of the warrior by spending time with caravan guards, and working with them occasionaly. Finally, he set off on his own, when he met a strange group of people as he was passing through Shadowdale.

(At this time, he had raised his strength from a 10 when age 15, to a 17 through vigorous training. The character was rolled with a 17 Strength.)

He adventured with these crazy people, eventually finding his way to Waterdeep with them. Along the way, they encountered a dracolich, luckily, everyone escaped without death, but they still have an uneasy feeling about the whole thing, giving that area a wide berth whenever they go by it.

In Waterdeep he discovered the Yawning Portal, home of the wonderful Durnin's Bread! Absolutely the best bread in the Realms, say some connosuers. Venturing into the depths of UnderMountain, they returned only 2 hours later after the death of their mage. Tiger Shark rallied them one more time, but the new mage steadfastly refused, hearing the tales that quickly spread of their last mage, who died only days earlier in the ruins. The rest of the party gave in one by one, and finally Tiger Shark relented.

So they ventured forth from Waterdeep and went North, under Tiger Shark's suggestions about what he heard around the City of Splendors. The arrived in a small town to hear more of the mystery surrounding the place, only to be told that the problem is a tribe of goblins that have set up shop in the area, taking cattle, cutting off the trade route to the south, and even kidnapping children.... Tiger Shark, along with Cedd Tervini's approval, declared it a problem for their party to solve.

Into the cave where the tracks led them they went. Searching, they found an old, abonded wizards' laboratory, riddled with old, used and useless booby traps along the way. Some worked though, and the party lost their thief, Skippy Lathkule. They found a hallway deep within the earth where the mage's traps were still at large. Caryatid Columns formed 2 lines of statues down a long hallway. Carved into beautiful, voluptious women, Cedd decided to take a closer look. This set them off, splitting the party in half, with Tiger Shark fighting off 2 at once to make time for his half to escape up a flight of uncharted stairs. The mage of the party donned a ring of blinking and blinked into solid wall. The other half of the party is assumed to be dead.... It was within these caverns that Tiger Shark and the rest happened upon a lair of Displacer Beasts and destroyed the family. They discovered a couple of corpses, 3 days old cleric decided. Tiger Shark thus found his armor, which he has done his best to take care of since that day.

He now lead the party from the coastal lands and back to the heartlands, where he was commisioned by the Lord of Shadowdale as a Knight. Searching for more adventure, they heard of what could be found within the Cormyrian Marshes, and set off for Cormyr. Choosing which one turned out to be the hard part, though. He settled for the Farsea Marshes. Along the way they crossed paths with a slave caravan traveling off the beaten path and definitely felt that they had to do something about it. The new mage set fire after fire with spell after spell, and in the process, the rest of the party was able to free the slaves and destroy the oppressors. He then continued on his way, leaving the people to their goods, the small woods nearby, and the river.

Within the Farsea Marshes, Tiger Shark and Company came across a small nest of dragon eggs. Seeing they couldn't be something good, he destoyed them, only to have two young black dragons hear the sounds and come investigate. They are now dead. Venturing forth, he met up with yet another black dragon, only this was a much larger one, and female at that. The dragon, Slokk, cursed the mortal fiends, and beat the crap out of them. Tiger Shark had the worst experience of his life.

He woke in a hut in the swamp 2 days later, being tended by a Marsh Drover. Stargazer, his best friend, waited the whole time. Not long after waking, screams were heard outside, and a quite a ruckus was going on. He rushed to investigate, much to his chagrin. Slokk was back, and teasing him. A small battle erupted, and Slokk ended up biting off Tiger Shark's right arm (his Strength was reduced to 15, and he lost his specialization with the Bastard Sword).

He was now a "cripple" in his own eyes. He led the party back to Arabel, in Cormyr. On the road back, he discovered a small community set up at the site of freed slaves, who fervently asked him his name. Their leader heard quickly and rushed to him, declaring this new town "Sharkton."

Heading east from Arabel, they had the unfortunate chance to meet up with rather large red dragon. Tiger Shark's best friend went up in flames in a futile attempt to protect the mage from its breath weapon. A cleric was lost in the battle, and Tiger Shark almost died. With assistance from Doust of Tymora, they were able to save him and keep him alive.

The saving proved no good, though. He was utterly depressed and became a burden to the party. After learning that life wasn't over, he looked at his situation and figured he'd get himself a new arm. He searched for 2 months before getting affected by a strange wish (during the last gaming session with this group) and the arm he'd cut from a bugbear became attached to his shoulder and he found himself with a reputation that far exceeded him....
