6. "Wild at Heart"
Buffy does her best to console Willow when Oz is attracted to another woman, Veruca (guest star Paige Moss). Even after it is discovered that his attraction stems from the fact that she is also a werewolf, that fact does nothing to soften the blow Willow is given when she discovers Oz gives into his animal impulses and has sex with Veruca, albeit in wolf form. Willow cannot be comforted. She almost walks out in front of a car but Riley is there to save her in time. She almost puts a curse on Oz but at the last minute backs down because she truly loves Oz and cannot bear to do it. Veruca attacks Willow right after she decides not to perfrom the spell, and if Oz had not gotton there and killed Veruca, Willow would be dead. However, if Buffy hadn't been there Willow might have been killed by Oz since he and Veruca are in wolf form when they have their big fight. Oz decides the best thing he can do is leave for a while so he can figure out what being a werewolf really means and if his animal impulses can ultimately be controlled. He tells Willow he loves her but that does not make her feel any better, she cries her eyes out as he drives off in his van.
