Stats

Here are the stats for the Vegas game.

Strength: modifies the damage done with hand-to-hand weapons and modifies the chance of success with strength related attempts.
Coordination: modifies the chance to hit with weapons and modifies skill attempts related to fine motor skills.
Health: modifies the amount of damage a character can take and modifies resistance attempts to disease, poison, fatigue, etc.
Power: is a measure of a character's magical power. The higher the power, the more spells a character can use before becoming fatigued.
Ability: is a measure of a character's ability to use their magical power. The higher the ability, the more effective the character's spells will be.
Resistance: is a measure of a character's ability to resist magic. Resistance modifies magic regardless of whether or not the magic is beneficial or harmful.
Intuition: modifies skills that involve computers, diagnostics, or guesswork.
Willpower: modifies the mental damage a character can take from sources such as VR combat and magic.
Charm: modifies how non-player characters react to the character.

Stats will have a number assigned to them. This number is usually between 1 and 100 although races other than humans will sometimes have stats greater than 100. The higher the stat the better.

Skills are also assigned a number. This number is based to some extent on the proficiency desired by the player. The higher the number, the better the chance of successfully using that skill. Stat bonuses will also modify skill success.
