Based on Sacramentary Sacramentarium Gregorianum: France (Saint Amand) 9th or 10th century. done with imitation gold leaf and imitation gold ink. The ink was difficult to deal with. I found that I had to dip for every letter and couldn't use an ink well as the ink dried too quickly and blocked the flow. gold leaf is a hastle, but the results are worth it. I just need more practice, now.
